Simon Dugdale: Assistant Instructor Simon Dugdale started WTF Taekwondo in his early teens to learn how to defend himself under the careful eye of Sabomnim Phil Simmons. The sport quickly developed into a hobby and a passion than just a way to defend himself.

Simon has taken part in smaller, local tournaments and has a few medals and this year debuted in larger scale competitions. He has also trained in other Martial Arts including Kyokushinkai Karate, Aikido and holds a grade in Shotokan Karate although Simon's roots lie within WTF Taekwondo due to his preference to the high-kicking techniques, sparring and sports training.

He has achieved:

  • London Open 2007: Champion (Gold)
  • Southern Championships 2007: Bronze
  • British International 2007: Champion (Gold)
